Salvador Baeza, PE, LEED AP, CPESC, founded Baeza Engineering in August 2017. He founded the firm after a decade as an engineer with Atkins Global and Pape-Dawson Engineers, where his skills contributed to complex, multi-year projects for long-term clients in all the major cities in Texas. He started Baeza Engineering to offer clients skilled, professional services from a firm that operates more efficiently, more smoothly and gets results more quickly.

As president of Baeza Engineering, Sal’s management, design and construction administration experience benefits a broad range of clients, whether serving as prime A/E or in partnership with A/E firms as sub-consultants. The firm’s clients include the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, municipal and county governments, state agencies, residential and commercial land developers and private industry.

With our knowledge of local, state and federal permitting with varying Agencies Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), Baeza Engineering provides guidance on projects with local environmental and water quality requirements, TCEQ general and industrial permitting, and assistance with NEPA and Section 106 compliance for federally funded work.

PRESIDENT

Sal is a civil engineer with experience in management, design, and construction administration for a diversified mix of projects, such as roadway, drainage improvements, H&H modeling, site developments, water/wastewater infrastructure, and master planned developments.

His design experience includes roadway and drainage design; site grading and surface analysis; local, state, and national permitting; utility and infrastructure design; traffic control; project management and scheduling; and construction inspection and administration.

Nathan Mejia Construction Manager

Nathan specializes in construction materials testing and Quality Control/Quality Assurance inspections for large-scale roadway and infrastructure construction projects. His expertise includes construction phase services on large-scale projects from the SH 99 Grand Parkway infrastructures to the Houston National Cemetery.

He provides inspections for compliance with construction drawings and specifications in areas including concrete installations, grading and drainage, roadway repairs, MSE walls, substructure and superstructure inspections, bridge decks, earthwork, drainage, lime, CTB, rebar, structural steel, nuclear density tests and more.

Paulina Reyes

Paulina Reyes, from Laredo, Texas, values community and the impact of well-designed infrastructure. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from Texas A&M International University, specializing in land development projects. With over 2.5 years of experience, Paulina brings technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to her role at Baeza Engineering, assisting in all facets of land development design. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and pets, exploring Austin’s culture, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
